OVERVIEW

WUAA Philly, NJ, DE Chapter plans to re-launch its non-partisan Voter Engagement and Recruitment Initiative under our Future Bulldogs program with a emphasis on high school students in the greater Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware area. The project focus is to empower and engage voters in underserved communities to cast their votes and inspire them to pursue higher education, particularly at Wilberforce University.

Students and young adults will be targeted using coordinated social media outreach, digital marketing campaigning, in person voter education programming with an emphasize on the importance of voting. We plan to gather statistical data that will better inform local communities and national organizations regarding the best ways to mobilize future voters in the high school age demographics.
